Rainer: 안녕 Simon! 태국 다녀왔어? 어땠어?

Rainer: Hi Simon! Back from Thailand? How was it?

Simon: 어, 너무 좋았어. 드디어 우리 집사람 부모님을 뵙게 됐어.

Simon: Oh, it was nice. Finally met my wife's parents.

Rainer: 정말 잘 됐다! 시골에 사신다고 했지?

Rainer: Brilliant! They live in the countryside, right?

Simon: 응, 태국 북동쪽에 있는 Isan에.

Simon: Yes, in Isan in the northeast of Thailand.

Rainer: 할 게 별로 없겠다 그치?

Rainer: Not much to do there I suppose?

---

Simon: 그래도 흥미로웠어. 우리 개구리 사냥하러 갔어.

Simon: It was interesting though. We went frog hunting.

Rainer: 진짜? 뭐하려고?

Rainer: Really? What for?

---

Simon: 그 곳 사람들은 개구리를 잡아서 먹어. 그 중 어떤 개구리는 꽤 커!

Simon: They eat the frogs. Some of these frogs were quite big!

Rainer: 오, 불쌍한 개구리. 너도 먹었어?

Rainer: Oh, the poor frogs. Did you eat them too?

---

Simon: 아니, 난 도저히 못 먹겠더라.

Simon: No, I couldn't bring myself to eat them.
